Automatic SSL certificates on all domains

Now domains automatically get a free SSL certificate when you order or add to your account.

When we introduced free SSL certificates from Let’s Encrypt in 2016, we were among the first in Sweden to do so.

Over the past few years, SSL (https) certificates have gone from somewhat complicated to super simple. At the same time, having a certificate is now a necessity if you don’t want your website to appear as “not secure” in many browsers.

Creating an SSL certificate is among the first things our new clients do. We wanted to simplify that.

That’s why we’re pleased that SSL certificates are now standard on all domains hosted on our web hosting servers.

When you order a new account or add a new domain to an existing account, a free certificate will be created automatically. So you don’t have to worry, you can use it straight away.

If you already have domains on your account that don’t already have a Let’s Encrypt certificate, they will automatically get a new certificate now.

? In the support portal you can read more about using AutoSSL, excluding domains, failed renewals and how it works with wildcards.

Expired paid certificates are automatically converted

If you currently have a purchased certificate on a domain name that expires and you forget to renew, we will automatically convert it to a free one.

The advantage for you is that your customers will never be greeted with a warning that the website is insecure.

Of course, we will continue to support paid SSL certificates in the future if you need it instead.
