Since launching in 2016, epostflytt.se has moved close to 300 million (!) emails and has been widely used by anyone who wants a simple, hassle-free way to switch email providers.
The site has always been easy to use, but its design was a little outdated.
Now epostflytt.se has finally been updated with a brand new interface.
Epostflytt.se has a new design – and several new features
Beyond a more modern, cleaner interface, there are a few updates worth mentioning:
- It’s now also possible to move emails from Microsoft accounts. (If you want to move a mailbox other than your own, a colleague’s for example, the account you log in with needs Full Access to it. You grant this in the Exchange admin center. We show how under FAQ.)
- Easier to move emails from Google accounts, using an app password instead of your regular one
- Even more secure: passwords are kept in memory during the move, never written to disk, and deleted the instant the move is complete
- Move your whole company at once: upload a file with up to 100 mailboxes and run several in parallel
- Follow the move live with a counter, speed and full log, or close the tab and get an email when it’s done
- Test the connection before anything happens, so you can see right away if something’s wrong
- Run a simulated move first and see the count and size without anything being written to the target mailbox
- Faster, simpler navigation with three submenu items in the header: Start move, Status, and FAQ
- Choose between dark and light mode

What does epostflytt.se do?
The service copies your entire mailbox, folder structure, read markers, and all attachments from one provider to another. The transfer is done via IMAP copying with imapsync, the same tool used professionally.
That means it’s now possible, unlike before, to also transfer Microsoft emails. Perfect if you’d like support and want to gather your Microsoft 365 Business licenses with us alongside your hosting.
No account is required to use the service, no passwords are stored, and the servers are located in Sweden, just like all our hosting.
